The formal UCAS process commences with the formation of the Personal Statement which pupils begin in the summer term of Year 12. In addition to the form tutors expertise, we invite visiting speakers ranging from local Universities such as Aston and Birmingham to those further afield such as Oxford and Cambridge, to provide more detailed information regarding University applications and University life.
Parents are invited to attend a careers fair in March, this popular attend is supported by local and national businesses as well as a large number of higher educational establishments. The information provided is both informative and useful for future pathways.
In Year 13, pupils have access to a range of resources including practice university interview questions which are specific to a wide variety of Higher Education Courses. Mock interviews are provided to pupils by members within our Alumni including those who graduated to become Medics/Dentists or studied at Oxford/Cambridge.
